Our Story

William Sams founded Lancer Capital Group Enterprises with the belief that thoughtful investment can generate lasting value for both businesses and the communities they serve. Drawing on his background in economics and deep roots in Greeneville, Tennessee, William built Lancer around a long-term approach to entrepreneurship, real estate development, and community revitalization.

 

Through LCG Development International, the company focuses on adaptive reuse, mixed-use development, and creating new possibilities for underutilized properties. Its flagship project, One Lancer Center, transformed a historic downtown Greeneville building into a flexible hub for offices, meetings, retail, and entrepreneurship. Every project is guided by sound business strategy, respect for local character, and partnerships that allow communities to grow without losing what makes them distinctive.

Lancer’s work has continued to expand through ventures led by members of its executive team. Lancer Strategic Solutions was established by Adam Agee, Lancer Capital Group’s Chief Financial Officer, to provide business and financial consulting, with a particular focus on supporting small businesses pursuing government contracting opportunities.

 

Lancer is also a partner in Condor Aviation and the home of TriStar Trains, a specialty model railroad company born from William’s lifelong interest in railroading. Together, these ventures reflect Lancer’s broader mission: to recognize potential, invest with purpose, and build businesses and places that create value well beyond the balance sheet.
