William M. Sams

 

William Sams is the Founder and President of Lancer Capital Group, LLC, where he provides strategic leadership across the firm’s investment, development, and operating platforms. He founded the company with a clear focus on disciplined growth, long-term value creation, and projects that strengthen the local economy through thoughtful execution and design.

 

Lancer Capital Group operates across multiple verticals, including real estate development, business operations, and aviation. Its real estate arm, LCG Development International, serves as the firm’s development division, leading mixed-use and commercial projects from concept through delivery. In addition, Lancer Capital Group holds an ownership interest in Condor Aviation, LLC, where William serves as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing operations and contributing to strategic planning and growth.

 

William is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics at East Tennessee State University. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and a recipient of the Scott M. Niswonger Scholarship. His professional foundation includes experience with the Town of Greeneville and the Greene County Partnership, where he supported zoning analysis, economic development initiatives, and the creation of resources for municipalities and local businesses.

 

In parallel with his business leadership, William is the Founder and Chairman of the Lancer Capital Group Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on supporting JROTC programs and expanding educational opportunities for young cadets. This work is rooted in his own experience in the Air Force JROTC program at Greeneville High School, which shaped his leadership approach and commitment to service.

 

Raised in a family of educators, William developed an early appreciation for lifelong learning and purposeful work. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he enjoys working on model trains, playing the organ, shooting, golfing, traveling, and pursuing his interest in aviation. He also serves on the Leadership Advisory Team for Isaiah 117 House in Greene County and is an active member of Notre Dame Catholic Church in Greeneville. His work is guided by his faith and a long-term perspective with a commitment to building organizations and projects that endure.
