Founded by William Sams, a lifelong railroading enthusiast, TriStar Trains was born from a love of trains that started in childhood and evolved into a thriving business. This passion extends beyond model trains, as William is also actively involved in railroad preservation through Railroad Preservation Associates, a division of Lancer Capital Group. Through this work, he collaborates with rail organizations and museums to keep the history of railroading alive. In April 2025, TriStar Trains welcomed Cameron Myers to the team as a Partner and Custom Model Specialist. Cameron brings years of experience in model customization and a lifelong passion for model railroading to our expanding business!
