William Sams, the founder of Lancer Capital Group, LLC, is currently a junior at East Tennessee State University (ETSU), majoring in Economics. Throughout college, he has interned for the Town of Greeneville and the Greene County Partnership, experiences that have further deepened his passion for his hometown and economic development. These opportunities provided firsthand insight into the challenges and opportunities that communities face when striving for growth, reinforcing his commitment to making a lasting impact through Lancer Capital Group.

Rooted in his background in economics and his deep ties to Greeneville, TN, William saw an opportunity to merge business strategy with community revitalization. Beyond real estate and development, William is also the founder of TriStar Trains, a business dedicated to the buying and selling of model trains. A lifelong railroading enthusiast, he turned his passion into a thriving business under the Lancer Capital Group umbrella, further showcasing his entrepreneurial drive and ability to transform interests into successful ventures.
